here i like to talk about one of my favorite actor in hong kong he is michael miu also know as sam ko.
michael miu Born in 1958 in Zhoushan, Zhejiang and moved to Hong Kong with his mother to re-join his father in Hong Kong. Miu saw little of his father, who was merchant mariner and was raised mainly by his mother. Miu's father contracted cancer and he was forced to work to support the family. He was originally a furniture making apprentice, but the work did not pay well. Michael Miu Kiu Wai entered the Hong Kong entertainment industry in 1980 joining TVB's training academy. From 1981 to 1986 Michael Miu together with Kent Tong, Felix Wong, Tony Leung and Andy Lau were promoted as one of TVB's Five Tigers. In 1987 he left TVB, investing in a company manufacturing and selling glasses. In 1990, he married TVB actress Jaime Chik Mei Chun and together they left the entertainment business to start a family. He now has 2 children- Phoebe and Murphy Miu, both of which attend Sha Tin College.
During the 90's Michael Mui devoted himself to business and earned a reputation as a business man. Selling his company to an Australian company in 2002 he returned to TVB and acting in 2004 beginning with the series The Academy playing middle aged roles.
His trade mark role was as the dashing and sauve Wuxia Knight-errant, although he is perhaps best known for the villainous Yang Kang in TVB's 1983 version of The Legend of the Condor Heroes.
And now he new drama is E.U,he play as JIANG SHI XIAO and he is released from jail in Taiwan. He returns to Hong Kong immediately and tries to find his daughter JIANG YOU YOU (Elanne Kong) so as to heal their relationship. By pretending to be friendly with the one who made him in jail, the gang leader TO YIK TIN (Lam Lei), XIAO is eager to get even with him, and also intends to draw two young policemen to his side in order to strengthen his influence. LEE PAK KIU (Sammul Chan) from the Emergency Unit is reluctant to get close with a gangster while CHUNG LAP MAN (Ng Cheuk Hai, Ron) from Special Duty Squad believes that XIAO could help them fight against TIN by acting as an informer. MAN develops a close relationship with him gradually but he has been dismissed before accomplishing the task. Afterwards, XIAO takes MAN under his wing and MAN devotes himself to the triad society.
TIN always put XIAO on his guard and he asks his trusted follower LEUNG SIU TONG (Tse Tin Wah) to keep a close eye on XIAO. On the other hand, XIAO fights back by making use of TIN's wife CHING YEUK SAM (Chow Hoi Mei) to strengthen his power in the gang. XIAO eventually becomes the gang leader and he believes that everything is under control. However, the drug trafficking business keeps running into trouble abnormally. XIAO begins to question the loyalties among his confidants.
this drama really the best in TVB and Michael miu still really cool play as bos tries in the drama.
